- Every year, you can convert your consumption miles into Lufthansa tier miles at a ratio of 5:1. A minimum of 5,000 consumption miles and a maximum of 25,000 consumption miles can be converted into tier miles.

- Annual fee is $89, and the first year annual fee is not waived.
- Lufthansa miles have very high fuel costs, so it is very difficult to use. TPG values Lufthansa miles at 1.2c.

- Fuel charges are extremely high. According to the DP on the Internet, only UA domestic flights, Polish Airlines LOT and Panama Airlines COPA do not charge fuel charges. You can actually use it to exchange for UA domestic flights.
- You can change to a one-way trip, which is half of a round trip, and you cannot stop on the one-way trip.
- There are flight segment restrictions. Each one-way trip with 1 zone can only have 2 flight segments, with 2 zones only 3 flight segments, with 3 zones only 4 flight segments...
- Like Air Canada, you can make 1 stop on each way, but you must cross zones to make a stop, and you cannot stop in the zone where you depart. You can take 2 open legs.
- Lufthansa has one and FlyingBlue PromoAwards akinMileage Bargains, that is, select some routes for mileage redemption discount promotions.

Lufthansa Gay Ticket Rules
- Only departs from the United States, and destinations can be Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Far East
- Only Lufthansa can fly
- Gay tickets must pay taxes
- It can only be economy class, and the limited classes are Y, B, H, and M (you don’t need to read any more after this, with such a high economy class berth, this gay ticket is completely useless).
Recommended application time
- Barclays places great emphasis on recent Hard Pulls and recommends applying when the number of Hard Pulls within 6 months is less than 6, although this is not a strict rule.
- [6/24 rule] Similar to Chase’s 5/24 rule, Barclays will also reject you if you have 6 or more new accounts within 24 months. However, unlike Chase, Barclays’ rule is not strictly enforced and there are often counter-examples.
- It is recommended that you apply after having a credit history of more than one year.
- Theoretically, only Permanent Residents (green card holders or citizens) can apply for Barclays credit cards. The screenshot below is from the application details. In fact, the bank does not really verify whether you are a green card holder or citizen. Non-green card holders can also apply, but at their own risk.
Summarize
Basically, if you are a beginner, you don't need to consider this card. If you are an experienced user, it is best to control it to the last six months when the HP is relatively low. LH's mileage is relatively niche and generally not easy to use, so the value of applying for the card is not particularly high. If you just want to switch to domestic UA economy business, it is worth a try.
